I worked at Loblaws for 25 years in the bakery, starting off as a clerk and then in the later years a baker. I have always loved to bake cookies and squares for my family and friends often giving gifts of my confections.
On a trip to New York about 18 years ago I came across a small bakery that specialized in decorated sugar cookies and fell in love with these unique one of a kind works of art. I bought a few cutters and went home and started to bake and decorate cookies. Now almost 20 years later I have approximately 300 cutters and have decorated thousands of cookies. My favorite cookie to decorate is Gingerbread. 
I have decorated cookies for many occasions and have also put together trays of assorted squares and cookies, Christmas being my busiest season.
This has been my fourth year at the Marmora's Farmers Market. And I am also in the Heart of Hastings Christmas Tour at the Christmas Market.

I have in the past and will again this year donate a Gingerbread house to the Historical Society for their fundraiser which will be raffled off on the day of the Marmora Santa Clause parade.
